Educational information, not medical advice

RecoveryCost.com exists for one purpose: to help people understand and compare the cost of behavioral healthcare. Everything on this site is informational and educational. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, legal advice, or insurance advice.

Listing accuracy — what we promise and what we can't

Our directory is built from public government datasets and information facilities submit to us directly. Every price we publish carries a visible source label and an "as of" date, and our methodology page explains exactly how each figure is produced.

What we cannot promise is that every detail is current or complete. Facilities change their services, networks, and pricing; government datasets have lag; estimates are models, not quotes. Always confirm costs, availability, licensure, and insurance participation directly with the facility and your insurance plan before making a decision.

If something looks wrong, tell us. Anyone can use the dispute process — every report creates a review ticket, disputed information is visibly annotated while under review, and we aim to resolve disputes within five business days.

Listings are not endorsements

Every facility in our directory receives a free listing built from the same public data. A facility's presence on RecoveryCost.com is not a recommendation, a quality rating, or an endorsement — and a facility's absence is not a judgment either. Sponsored placements are always labeled, and sponsorship never changes the data we publish. How we earn revenue is documented in How We Make Money.

Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest the site's content or data with automated tools, or republish our directory in whole or substantial part, without our written permission.
• Submit false information — for example, filing a dispute you know to be untrue, or claiming a facility profile you are not authorized to represent.
• Interfere with the site's operation, probe or bypass its security, or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Use the site to harass anyone or to harm people seeking treatment.

We may limit or block access that violates these rules.

Our content

The guides, methodology, design, and compiled directory on this site belong to RecoveryCost.com. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote brief excerpts with attribution. Underlying government datasets remain public — our compilation, presentation, and editorial content are what these terms protect.

Limits on our liability

In plain language: the site is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the information accurate, sourced, and dated, but we cannot guarantee it, and we are not a party to any decision, admission, or agreement between you, a facility, or an insurer. To the fullest extent the law allows, RecoveryCost.com is not liable for losses that result from relying on the site's information or from being unable to use the site.

Some places do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law
